December 2024 was the Christmas that my parents collaborated to get me my first dedicated Camera that wasn’t my phone camera: a Sony ZV-1F. As somebody who knew better than to just trust products on brand name alone, I happened to point this out as a good deal on a Best Buy magazine not knowing that it wouldn’t be a good fit for photography (mostly because 20mm even on an APS-C sensor is far too wide for my shooting style). It’s still a nice dedicated camera for streaming and video, and it was a nice way to dip my toes into the photography world.
